Released in the comfort of darkness

The things my eyes have seen
The words that have passed through my ears
Created this destructive state
And confirmed my dormant fears

Your smile was the nail in the coffin
I still remember you laying me to rest
Yet your task was not complete
Because I can feel the cavity in my chest

Now I lay in this pinewood prison
Knowing that you got the best of me
Your smile was my last sight
So beautiful, so deadly

As the air begins to thin
The darkness takes control
I willingly accept this fate
Just to escape your hold

Almost wordless. I liked the way you used your words, the simple way you expressed everything. Lovely.
