Oswald complained about assassins

The silence from her cell phone
Says it all
Yet she still checks it now and then

It was only one date
It was only one night
She keeps her disappointment inside

During times of honesty
She speaks of loneliness
And complains of the games

She speaks about the many
That have come and gone
The many faces, the many names

Now that she has possibly found the one
She looks forward to the day
That she is single again

She will never blame her self
When it goes sour

And yet she’ll always wonder what happened
